TRYBA Aegis 80 Windows Pass Rigorous Intertek Testing, Quality Builds Trust
Time:2025-08-06

In the global market, high-quality building materials are not only a symbol of brand strength but also the cornerstone of earning customer trust. TRYBA's highly regarded Aegis 80 UPVC/Vinyl window series has once again proven its leading position in window manufacturing with outstanding performance, following a rigorous round of testing by the world's premier inspection body, Intertek.

For this testing, we did not focus on a single window type. Instead, we submitted over 80 window configurations from the entire Aegis 80 series for the critical “three-performance” tests (air, water, and structural performance). With this detailed report, we will show you how TRYBA products meet and even exceed international standards. Our core products, the uPVC casement window and uPVC awning window, achieved excellent results.

Key Test Results at a Glance:

Casement window: Our Vinyl casement window successfully passed the CW-PG30 standard.

Air Test: Performed exceptionally well under 75Pa of wind pressure, fully complying with the standard. This means our windows effectively prevent air infiltration, significantly improving a building's energy efficiency.

Water Test: Successfully passed the 290Pa wind pressure test, ensuring that rainwater does not penetrate indoors during severe weather conditions.

Structural Test: The window structure remained stable under the formidable wind pressures of SLS (Serviceability Limit State) ±1440Pa and ULS (Ultimate Limit State) ±2160Pa, fully guaranteeing safety in use.

Awning Window: Our Vinyl awning window also performed exceptionally well in testing, meeting the CW-PG30 standard.

Air Test: Easily passed under 75Pa of wind pressure.

Water Test: Demonstrated superior performance, passing the 440Pa wind pressure test to provide enhanced waterproofing for your building.

Structural Test: Similar to the casement window, its structural integrity was excellent under wind pressures of SLS ±1440Pa and ULS ±2160Pa, meeting high-strength requirements.

2

Fixed Window:

Air Test: Passed flawlessly under 75Pa of wind pressure, meeting the higher CW-PG40 standard.

Water Test: Achieved the best performance in the series, successfully passing the 720Pa wind pressure test, with waterproofing capabilities far exceeding the industry average.

Structural Test: Also showed extraordinary strength, with performance meeting requirements under ultra-high wind pressures of SLS ±1920Pa and ULS ±2880Pa.

Performance Grade Interpretation: CW-PG30 and CW-PG40 Standards

These seemingly complex codes originate from the North American Fenestration Standard AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A-440-22 (NAFS), and they are key indicators for measuring window performance.

  • CW (Commercial Window): This represents the product's Performance Class, meaning it is a "Commercial Window," suitable for commercial buildings that require higher standards for structural performance and water tightness.

  • PG (Performance Grade): This represents the product's Performance Grade, where the number that follows indicates the Design Pressure it can withstand.

Therefore, CW-PG30 means the product is a "Commercial Window" with a design pressure of ±30 psf (pounds per square foot), which can meet medium-intensity wind pressure requirements. CW-PG40, on the other hand, means its design pressure is ±40 psf, indicating that the product has stronger structural stability and wind pressure resistance. Our fixed window achieving this higher standard fully demonstrates its outstanding performance in facing more severe environments.

Compliant with North American Standards: Your Excellent Choice in the North American Market

The excellent results obtained from this Intertek test are not just a mark of product quality; they are proof that our products comply with the rigorous requirements of the North American market. Our products are fully compliant with the unified North American standard AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A-440-22 and the Canadian standard CSAA440S1-25. This makes our Aegis 80 series an excellent choice for residential and commercial projects across the United States and Canada, ensuring that our windows provide outstanding performance, durability, and peace of mind for our North American customers.

Why This Is So Important

As a globally recognized authority, Intertek’s certification standards are rigorous and credible. Passing these tests proves that the TRYBA Aegis 80 window series has reached an advanced international level across the three core dimensions of air tightness, water tightness, and structural stability. Whether it's the consistent performance of the Casement and awning windows or the exceptional strength of the fixed window, we are making a solemn promise to all our customers that our products are a trustworthy, high-performance choice.

This is not just a guarantee of product quality; it also means:

A More Comfortable Indoor Environment: Excellent air and water tightness effectively block out wind, rain, and noise while reducing energy consumption.

Superior Energy Efficiency: Achieving high-standard air tightness means less heat loss, which in turn lowers energy consumption for heating and cooling.

A Longer Service Life: The strong structural performance ensures the windows remain sturdy and durable even when facing severe weather.

With the authoritative Intertek certification, we promise all our customers that the TRYBA Aegis 80 series windows are a high-performance choice you can trust. We look forward to working with you to create safer, more energy-efficient, and more comfortable living and working spaces.
